Solace Farm earned its name for the peace and quiet Cinda experienced when she first viewed the property. After leaving South dakota and living in large cities, the absolute abscence of city noise that was replaced with the sound of the wind in the trees and what sounded like hundreds of birds chirping was so calming. The feeling was a sense of home! With that, the hobby farm was bought and renamed Wilson's Solace Farm.
Our farm is based on the belief that picking pumpkins and vegetables should be done by hand from the garden, not out of a box at a grocery store. Solace
Farm grows many different items for you to pick and the smallest to the LARGEST pumpkins!
2019 Expansion: We have partnered with HIPCAMP and are offering rustic camping on our farm! Camping includes a bundle of firewood, a welcome gift of one of my fresh homemade jams and a loaf of homemade bread, your choice of camp sites, picking from the berry trees and bushes, playing on our restored playground, visiting with the goats and chickens and gathering fresh eggs for breakfast!
